2009 – Out with a Bang!
You didn’t really think I would let the year close without me adding SOMETHING to my blog, did you?
I seriously cannot believe that this is the third year I am bringing in the New Year on my blog. Over the past two New Years I have focused in on 10 Minute Lists (2008 and 2009) – this year I am doing something a little different.
There have been remarkable changes over the last year in regards to Happily Thinner After (HTA) and the role I played in getting the word out about the miracle of hCG to the masses. So for today, the last day of the year of this DECADE – let’s finish it up with a post entitled:
Top 9 Great Things That Happened at HTA in 2009
- HTA Established – Sure, officially we started HTA in December of 2008, but it really wasn’t until January of 2009 that it took off – that is when we changed from just a ’support forum’ to more of a community based, social system full of articles, products, and of course support which was now made available in many different formats – blogging, journals, social groups, etc.
- One on One Nutritional Coaching Established – this was MUCH more than two years in the making and it was finally done! With the help from so many different people too numerous to mention here, the ground work was laid to what is sure to become the premier service available on HTA – One on One Personal Nutritional Coaching. This entails all of the phases of The hCG Protocol (from VLCD to Lifetime Maintenance) – the ace in the hole was perfecting the whole concept of “RESHAPING” rounds!
- Holiday Recovery Guide – add this as another thing that was years in the making. This extensive recovery guide is a detailed way to get back on track without using hCG – full of proven methods to get your body and mind made over to getting back to LIW!!!
- Get Your Thin on Tour – WOW – you wanna talk about really extending myself past my comfort zone??? I went on 5 state tour in 2.5 weeks meeting all sorts of people from all over and teaching them all about hCG and Maintenance. What a fabulous time I had meeting so many people that I had previously only known via the internet!
- Logo Established – OMG, the logo! When I first saw it, all I could think was WOOT WOOT – that is what it looks like, a person throwing their arms up in the air and screaming WOO HOO – I did it!!! It has become very recognizable as the face of HTA.
- Correction Days eBook – this one holds a special place in my heart – this was our very first eBOOK – completely written by me (with editing help by fellow HTA members) and inspired by the members of HTA – it showed me that I could write and that you all would read and LIKE what you read! <giggle> but seriously – it was just the beginning to the many more ebooks that would come on all sorts of different subjects.
- New Server – Gosh – we have had our share of server issues over most of the infancy of HTA (which includes what we were BEFORE HTA of which shall remain nameless <giggle>) – but in June of 2009 we made the decision to upgrade to a server that could finally handle our growth and I am happy to say we have not had ONE issue since then! WOOT WOOT
- Get Your Thin On Retreat – can you say VEGAS baby??? Wow, what a thrill that was! To see people we had gotten to know over the months in one place, and all getting together and acting like we had known each other for years. What a joy that was – and informative too!
- Starter Manual – Our sublingual starter manual was written in August of 2008 – it was quickly put together by two unprofessional writers (yes, one of them was ME!) and for most of the rest of that year I was not entirely happy with it – enter January 2009 and there was an extensive rewrite of the manual that now includes injections as well as sublingual and in a much easier to understand format.
There you go, one through 9 of the top things I feel were the greatest strides we made at HTA in 2009 – do you have a number 10? If so, please comment!!!
Tomorrow? I will be posting the top 9 things we plan for 2010!!! Stay tuned!

How about your first cookbook? OMG!!!! It’s fabulous and for those of us, like me, who had to be a high fat convert, needed the directions to put it altogether in a yummy dish. Just to name a few: pumpkin persnicketies( I think the real name is serniki-but hey ), chicken and parmesan casserole, chocolate globs…okay I’m working myself up here but this is a biggie for the TOP 10!!!
