It’s getting slightly weird to see those numbers on the scale.  I am under what I wanted to get to on my last cycle, and I had such a hard time getting there LAST cycle, but with ease this cycle.  Just goes to show that your head has GOT to be in the game, which it wasn’t last cycle.  I should have known that early on in my last cycle that something wasn’t quite right and taken a break earlier, but it is what it is, and now I am back on the straight and narrow, and losing just fine.  Average of 1.2 lbs a day, and my body percentage is at 3.98% – not too shabby.  You wanna see a number that will TOTALLY freak you out?

42.34% of my body weight has been lost since starting protocol!!!

EGADS!  That is ALMOST a half my size, can you even believe it?  Mind boggling to say the least, seriously.  Whoda thunk so long ago that I would lose 42.34% of my body weight in a little over 14 months???  Thank you Dr Simeons!

Feeling pretty darn good right now about my losses.

My menu yesterday:

• Coffee with 2% Milk
• Cottage Cheese and Blueberries
• One of my Smoothies
• Soup with Napa Cabbage, chicken broth, and tomato sauce

Ok, keep my family in your thoughts, now they are gonna have to deal with Ike – at least he isn’t coming our way, but on it’s way to the Gulf, which is never good.

Hidden Calories in Spices

Count Those Calories!

Phase 2 Smoothie Recipe:

3 oz raw spinach
5 oz frozen strawberries
3 oz low fat cottage cheese
1 tbsp Hershey’s unsweetened cocoa
2 packets of preferred Sweetener (I use Sweet and Low)

Total of 150 Calories – You could make two of these a day and still have room for at least ONE meal!!! This smoothie twice has almost the amount of protein as the recommended amount of chicken (3.5 oz)!!!
