Massive Update

I have seriously been lax about posting here – for that I am truly sorry.  I have been spending all my available online time at the forums:

And quite frankly, it’s taking up every second I give myself to be on the computer concerning the protocol.  So other things, like my blog in particular, have not been priority one.  But I cannot tell you how many people have eMailed me begging me to keep this up to date, even if it’s just a check in – that I don’t need to be prolific anymore, they just want to see how I am doing.  Someone out there actually contacted my sister asking if I was doing alright cause I haven’t updated in awhile.

There are lots of things going on in my life – I am about to head to Hawaii on the 27th of Oct to help my mom – actually it’s all of us kids (5 in total) going and I will be there for about 3 weeks, and then it’s the cruise, so I will be gone from home Oct 27th – Nov 20th.  Wow – not looking forward to that.  The cruise yes, the being gone from home for almost a month, no.

I am technically on Phase 4 – I had decided not to go on another round (cycle) after my last cycle as I was having all sorts of issues being close to the 130′s – it was playing with my mind BIG TIME.  My last post had me at 143.6 – at the end of the cycle I got to 140.6 and so that has been my LIW – I had an self image problem WAY BAD – it all started with a video I had taken of myself on the 9th of Sept and when I went to edit it, I was like, OMG – I AM STILL FAT – I can’t show this to anyone – well, I am over this now (if you want to see the video it’s here) – but it was after struggling with that whole thing that I decided I needed a LONG break – and I wanted to be stable to go to Hawaii so this is where I am.

LIW was on the 22nd of September – I was down to 140.6 – which makes a total of 110.2 pounds gone.  I have pretty much maintained very well at this weight, up and down games, got tired of doing protein days so me and an online friend started working with something we affectionately call the HFE (High Fat Experiment) – and if you want to know more about it, then you need to visit the forums!  LOL – It’s actually been working like a charm – and I am very happy and right now I am .8 above LIW.  We have been working with a SLEW of people with this new thing, and it seems to be doing the trick for those people that have their weight go out of control on Phase 3 and struggle to get back to LIW – it’s just another alternative to the steak day.

Another thing that takes up my time is BootCamp – that was actually my dream LAST year when I took my first P3 break and sailed thru it without any issues, when I saw everyone around me having MONDO problems.  I started doing massive research about why MY P3 was working and others weren’t.  I figured out formulas and I helped people discover what to do to maintain their weight, and now?  OMG!  BOOTCAMP has GROWN!  The forums have GROWN – it’s totally amazing how many people have been helped with their P3 by the use of BootCamp – so if you are out there and you need help, come on by ok?

So I will try to keep this updated a bit better.  I check in with BootCamp every single day, so what I will do for sure is give you an update on my weight at least, and what I ate, and what I am doing to maintain.  Will that work?

Ok, I said I would try to keep my journal up to date, let me go ahead and try this – for now I am just gonna post my BootCamp checkin here just so that you peeps who visit here but not bootcamp will know where I am in time:

It’s amazing to me, honest to goodness, to eat like this and only gain .2??? I definitely did NOT have enough water, and TOM has been threatening me all week, so I don’t even count this as an issue – I will continue on with this HFE because quite frankly, I like eating this way, no fake, it’s fun and delish. Chicken wings again tonight…let’s see if I can make it till tomorrow without a gain like I did last week.

Well, like always, I hit milestones in threes.  I made it to 100 lbs on Friday, on Saturday I fit into Size 8 jeans, and then on Sunday I was in a new decade!

OMG! Where did that come from? I am not complaining but still, I have no idea how that happened! That NEVER happens to me? To lose more on the 3rd day than I did on the 2nd? What is up with that? Nope, not gonna ask, just gonna accept.

Now I am only 12.0 away from that MILESTONE of 100 pounds. Shhh, let’s not say anything else ok???

My Son’s Stats:

  • Starting Weight – 190.4 (after load)
  • Yesterday’s Weight – 185.4
  • Today’s Weight – 183.6 – 1.8 Pound Loss – GEESH!!!

JPS’ Stats (remember, I have her stats a day late, so I don’t know what she is yet today):

  • Starting Weight – 136.0 (after load, which is only like .8 over her LIW of Cycle !)
  • Yesterday’s Weight – 133.2 – 1.0 Loss

My menu yesterday:

  • Catfish Creole
  • Strawberries for a snack
  • Taco Salad – ground beef, lettuce, salsa (tomatoes as a fruit)
  • 2 Liters of water
  • 2 Liters of Iced Tea (sweetened with Sweet and Low)
