Happily Thinner After Mentors

What is the HTA Mentor Program?

There are two parts to The Mentor Program:

• Request a Mentor - this program was designed to be individualized help for navigating the forum, setting up journals, posting pictures, and so forth.

• Ask a Mentor - this program was designed to go beyond navigating, into helping those with questions regarding protocol and beyond.

What is an HTA Mentor?

An HTA Mentor is a person that has successfully worked the protocol and demonstrates a full understanding of Dr. Simeons' work in Pounds & Inches.  In addition, he/she has a basic understanding of the forum and how it works. They know where to find things and to whom they should direct questions that they cannot answer. Mentors are only assigned to individuals that are new to HTA.

What are your duties as a Newbie?

1. Read the Beginners Guidebook (many of your questions will be answered in this guide and your mentor will be referring you to it often)
2. After 15 posts, request access to the Journals
3. Read our Terms of Service
4. AFTER you have started a journal, Request a Mentor or Ask a Mentor. (A journal is mandatory for requesting a mentor or asking a mentor and must be started before a mentor will be assigned - until that time, you will be denied access to the "Ask a Mentor" and the "Request a Mentor" sections.)

What are the basic duties of an HTA Mentor?

• First and foremost you must remember that the HTA Mentors are NOT PAID
• They help you navigate our forums
• They help you find answers to your questions
• They will always point to Dr. Simeons as the final authority of how to do your first round
• They will be able to direct you where to get supplies and various products to help your round be more successful
• They will follow you through one complete phase 2 and phase 3 of protocol, they will also direct you to Boot Camp if they feel you need the additional support.
• They will guide you in starting a new journal for your next round, if needed, and notify a Moderator or Administrator that your prior round's journal needs to be closed
